Prayers for Mom

Father God, I want to thank you for giving to us this wonderful woman to love and cherish all of our days. I want to thank you for bringing her home to us so she could be home when You called her Home to her eternal life with You. You have given us peace in knowing she is Your child and has been forgiven of her sins and have entered the gates of Heaven to walk with you. Thank you that you gave her great wisdom that she could pass on to all that came into her life. Father God, she asked that if this was to be then she would not interfere and You blessed her for allowing Your will be done in her life. In her death, Father, please do not let those who loved her grieve her passing for You have called her to be with You. Comfort them in knowing You have completely restored her and know that she loved each and everyone of us just as You do. We ask for this, in Jesus Name, we pray, Amen. ****************************************************************** Almighty Father, eternal God, hear our prayers for Your daughter Rosalee whom You have called from this life to Yourself. Grant her light, happiness, and peace. Let her pass in safety through the gates of death, and live forever with all Your saints in the light You promised to Abraham and to all his descendants in faith. Guard her from all harm and on that great day of resurrection and reward raise her up with all Your saints. Pardon her sins and give her eternal life in Your kingdom. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen ************************************************************************* Outside of Christ, all we have in this world is death and darkness, but in Christ we are children of Light! (Ephesians 5:8) In Christ we are called more than conquerors (Romans 8:37), in Christ there is no condemnation (Romans 8:1), in Christ even death itself has lost it’s sting (1 Corinthians 15:54-56)! In Christ we have the abundance of full life (John 10:10) and the fruit of His Holy Spirit even when things feel totally desolate. In Christ we have full access to all love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self control (Galatians 5:22)! In Christ even our trials can be considered joy (James 1:20) as we delight in his intimate nearness in the midst of them. Thank you Lord for allowing us to share in the beauty of her life, and the legacy she leaves with us all. Thank You that while in this life we only know you in part, she now knows you and is known by you face to face. Give us the faith and grace to live this life encouraged by her legacy of faith, hope and love, that we may experience your abundant life now with eager expectation of the Life to come! Pastor John Allen, Vineyard Community Church ************************************************************************** PSALM 23 The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not be in want. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he restores my soul. He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever. ************************************************************************ Matthew 6:9-13 New International Version (NIV) THE LORD'S PRAYER: “This, then, is how you should pray: “‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.’"
