Mom always loved marching bands (well, she loved music in general). When we were little we got started in the Tidewater Twirlettes where mom made a lot of lifelong friends. We would be in as many parades as we could, and mom would be right there, alongside us. As we grew older, mom became the grandest band mom of them all. As part of the Fabulous Marching Cavaliers she did not miss a beat with making sure ALL of her kids were taken care of. After we graduated high school, mom continued to go marching band competitions, one of which she started when we were in school; she liked to go to any local parade such as Neptune, Shriner's, etc. She'd be tapping her foot and clapping her hands, hooting,hollering, and cheering all the way.
